Overview

Snekbox is a new USB to retro console adapter made specifically for high speed rhythm game use. It allows you to use new high quality USB rhythm and USB game controllers with older retro consoles such as the PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Original Xbox, GameCube, and Wii.

Snekbox works by talking directly with your retro console, acting like an old school controller, but converting the inputs from your modern USB controller, bridging the gap between old and new!

Snekbox has been engineered for low latency and seamless gameplay. Play the games as they were originally designed to be played!

Snekbox has been highly tested against all variants of a multitude of retro consoles, retail games, homebrew and more, providing a plug and play experience that can’t be beat!

Snekbox supports multiple types of cables to connect to a variety of different retro consoles. One snekbox, multiple consoles!

By connecting two Snekboxes together, you can convert a single USB device into two console controllers by using Helper Mode. This allows for playing modes that traditionally require two dedicated controllers, such as Doubles DDR console games using an arcade icedragon.io Snek Board.

Snekbox has onboard controls for start, select, a/o and b/x for controllers missing those buttons, making menu navigation a breeze.
